#2 Public Libraries Are Community Builders.
Community libraries are often thought of as community builders. Their main purpose is to engage the community in building relevant and useful collections to enhance teaching and promote growth within the community. The community Library provides a valuable learning tool for the entire community by allowing access to things that are hard to find at home or in the typical schoolroom setting; such as books of any kind, movies, magazines, articles, and the internet. A Library provides people of all ages the opportunity to learn and develop in an environment that is user friendly and open to everyone, where there is someone on hand to help you in any way they can.
